[OSENWORLD] BLACKPINK’s new digital single “JUMP,” which showcases a bold musical direction, is earning widespread acclaim from major international music outlets—as is their high-profile global tour.

Released on July 11, “JUMP” quickly climbed to the top of iTunes song charts in 61 regions and maintained the No. 1 position for three consecutive days on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global chart—suggesting strong long-term appeal for the track.

According to YG Entertainment on July 17, Billboard spotlighted “JUMP” with a headline feature, calling it a “high-energy anthem.” The article praised the song’s dynamic composition, stating, “Each member’s unique vocal tone stands out while blending into a cohesive force,” and noted that BLACKPINK has “proven their evolution by expanding their sonic palette” and laid “a perfect foundation for their next chapter.”

UK-based music outlet NME built early anticipation by reporting that the song would premiere at BLACKPINK’s Goyang concert. Following its release, NME lauded “JUMP” for delivering “a fierce, addictive energy,” and recommended the music video for capturing a city entranced by BLACKPINK’s vibrant presence.

The group’s recent BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR IN LOS ANGELES on July 12–13 at SoFi Stadium was extensively covered by global media. BLACKPINK became the first-ever girl group to sell out two consecutive nights at the venue, drawing a combined audience of over 100,000—setting a new record.

The Los Angeles Times highlighted the historic nature of the sold-out shows at one of the city’s largest venues and commended the group’s stage artistry, describing BLACKPINK as “a group with a diverse artistic spectrum.” The article also included interviews with fans who traveled from across the U.S., emphasizing the group’s powerful stateside fandom.

Rolling Stone dubbed the LA concerts a “high-voltage homecoming,” declaring, “BLACKPINK shines brightest when they’re together.” The outlet also praised how the performances showcased not only the individual strengths of the members but also their elevated synergy as a group.

BLACKPINK’s world tour includes 31 shows across 16 cities. Having successfully completed stops in Goyang and Los Angeles, the tour continues with upcoming stadium-scale stops in cities including Chicago, Toronto, New York, Paris, Milan, Barcelona, London, Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Jakarta, Bulacan, Singapore, Tokyo, and Hong Kong.
